Yoga for Infertility
I offer yoga for infertility on an individual, couple and group basis.
Yoga for infertility is a yoga series designed to enhance your fertility by addressingthe physical, hormonal and emotional challenges of trying to get pregnant.
Each class includes body awareness, breathing exercises, specific sequences of active and restorative poses, guided imagery, affirmations and relaxation skills designed to

increase blood flow to the pelvis to relax and nourish your reproductive organs

balance hormones and endocrine glands
-
reduce overall stress
-
manage depression and anxiety
We will adapt poses for your menstrual/ovulation cycle and for whether you and in IVF/iui or trying naturally.

During individual or couples yoga therapy we will do an evaluation and customize a home practice for you based on your fertility diagnosis, whether you are trying naturally or in an cycle of IVF or iui. Home programs will be different for women with high FSH, PCOS, low lining, low sperm etc.
Mind Body Skills for Infertility
These evidence based services are modeled after the Mind Body program developed by Alice Domar MD at the Mind Body Medical Institute at Harvard Medical school. Research shows that participation in a mind body group more than doubles your chances of getting pregnant with or without ART (55% vs 20% for control group) In my experience, this number can be higher when combined with yoga, acupuncture and dietary changes.
